The 31st annual Waller High School Veterans Day Program was held on Tuesday, November 11. A continental breakfast was held in the library prior to the event, where attendees had the opportunity to meet and reconnect with fellow veterans. Waller ISD Public Information

Friday was a overwhelming afternoon for Phaedria Danmola. She was working her normal shift, oblivious to the sneaking in and out of the dining room at the Brookshire Resident and Rehabilitation Center where decorations, lunch, cake and punch were being set up. She never noticed a co-worker duck back into her office quickly hiding the beautiful bouquet she was about to receive.

Waller High School 12th grade student, Katie Phillips, carefully places paint strokes on a glass ornament she painted to be displayed on the majestic 22-foot, Texas grown Christmas tree that will be displayed at the Texas Capitol. The tree is displayed in the House Chamber for all visitors to see during the Christmas holiday season. Texas House of Representatives District 3 State Representative, Cecil Bell, Jr. requested that a Waller ISD student be selected to paint a representation of what makes the Texas House District 3 special.
